Ingredients

225g Self Raising Flour
1tsp Salt
1 Egg
250mL Milk
150g Finely Diced Bacon
125g Grated Parmesan Cheese
2tbsp Chopped Parsley
2tbsp Chopped Chives
Pinch or Pepper & Oil for frying

Method

  1. Sift flour and salt into a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the milk and egg. Gradually add the flour and mix well to make a smooth batter. Add more milk if batter is too thick.
  3. Add remaining ingredients apart from the oil.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Fry in batches with approximately 1 tablespoon per patty. Cook until both sides are browned.
  5. Drain on paper towel before serving.
