Health, Safety, Environmental & Rehabilitation Policy

Allied Pinnacle and Champion Flour New Zealand shall conduct all business activities across all sites in a manner that protects the health, safety, wellbeing and environment of our workers, contractors, and visitors.

We will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards for WHSE and Workers Compensation with respect to the jurisdictions we operate in.

We will promote waste and water reduction, resource and property conservation, and environmental protection in all our operations.

We will identify conditions in the workplace that may present health, safety and environmental concerns and alleviate potential exposures through assertive risk management, appropriate information, training, and supervision.

Risks identified will be minimised so far as is reasonably practical through safety leadership.

We will ensure our Suppliers and Contractors are aware of our policy and their health, safety, and environmental responsibilities in their relationship with Allied Pinnacle.

It is a policy of Allied Pinnacle and Champion Flour New Zealand to make available rehabilitation in the workplace and to provide an early and safe return to work for workers suffering work related injury or illness by using the workplace itself as a vital part of the rehabilitation process.

We will ensure the return to work commences as soon as possible after an injury including transitional duties without prejudice and consistent with medical advice.

We will measure the implementation of our WHSE policies through our Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and business objectives.
