500g Buttermilk Scone Mix |
280mL water |
50g Unsalted Butter (Softened) |
Flour for dusting |
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C or 180°C fan-forced Line tray with paper.
- Place water into mixing bowl, followed by the Buttermilk Scone Mix and softened unsalted butter. Using a dough hook attachment on an electric mixer, mixer on low speed for 5 minutes.
- Tip the dough onto a floured bench and knead it into a round disc shape.
- Dust the damper with a bit of extra flour and bake for 30 minutes. When tapping on the bottom of the damper, it should sound hallow when cooked.
- Cool on wire rack before serving.
