Grease a 20cm cake tin and line with baking paper.Place brown sugar, oil, golden syrup, eggs and villa essence into a bowl and use a whisk to mix until combined.Sift Atta Flour, bicarb soda and cinnamon into a seperate large bowl.Pour the oil mixture into the dry ingredients and with a wooden spoon, stir gently until just combined.Stir in the grated carrot.Pour the mixture into prepared lined tin and bake for approximately 90 minutes.
