320g Allied Pinnacle Atta Flour |
120g Brown Sugar |
140mL Olive Oil |
100g Golden Syrup |
3 Eggs |
1tsp Vanilla Essence |
1tsp Bicarb Soda |
1tsp All Spice |
2 Grated Carrots |
Method
- Preheat oven to 170°C or 150°C fan-forced. Grease a 20cm cake tin and line with baking paper.
- Place brown sugar, oil, golden syrup, eggs and vanilla essence into a bowl and use a whisk to mix until combined.
- Sift Atta Flour, bicarb soda and cinnamon into a seperate large bowl.
- Pour the oil mixture into the dry ingredients and with a wooden spoon, stir gently until just combined.
- Stir in the grated carrot.
- Pour the mixture into prepared lined tin and bake for approximately 90 minutes. Let cake cool for 10 minutes before turning onto wire rack.
