Ingredients
250g Traditional Cake Mix |
1 Egg |
60mL Water |
30mL Fresh Orange Juice |
1Tbsp Orange Rind |
1 Tbsp Poppyseeds |
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan-forced. Grease and line a 20cm round tin.
- Place water, egg and orange juice into mixing bowl, followed by the Traditional Cake Mix, poppyseed and orange rind.
- Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed until all ingredients are combined.
- Mix on fast speed for 5 minutes, then reduce speed to medium for a further 5 minutes.
- Deposit batter into prepared lined tin and smooth out batter so it is even.
- Bake in oven for 35-40minutes or until the skewer comes out clean. Cool cake in tin for 5 minutes before tipping out onto a wire rack to cool.
